Are you considering campaigning for elected office – or helping someone who is – and don’t know where to start? Or do you simply want to know more about the political process?
You Should Run is a nonpartisan program, providing training on the mechanics of running for office. Hosted by former City Council Woman, Karen Stratton, our training program involves subject matter experts. The overarching goals are to help the community understand the importance of being equally represented, breakdown assumptions about running for office, mitigate fear, provide participants with cutting edge campaign tools, and give you the opportunity to imagine yourself in office. Our trainers will be a premier team of community leaders, advisors, and staff.
