Position Summary: Update, simplify and maintain Leadership Spokane website. Write a manual that gives clear and easy to follow instructions for maintenance and updating.
Key Accountability:
- Applicant must qualify for State Work Study or seeking a for-credit internship
- Technology: Must be familiar or have the resources to quickly understand Java Script, PHP, and dhtml. Web design and maintenance experience. Computer literacy and experience (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Outlook and web-based applications). The ability to manage data and records accurately and consistently and prepare reports.
- Special Events and Marketing: Support special events and programs through website and social media applications. Assist in the design, creation and posting of marketing and registration materials, press releases and other publicity and advertising for the website.
- Organizational Skills: Must be an excellent writer. Must be well-organized, able to work independently but request guidance as needed. Must have good time management skills. Must safeguard privacy of clients and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to convey information in writing, over the phone, and in person in an accurate, clear and gracious manner. Must function well as part of a team and be able to report clearly and in a timely manner to members of the team. Cultural competence and intercultural communications skills a plus.
- Community Service: Pursue a chosen volunteer leadership role in the community.

Employment Status: part time, non-exempt, work study
Benefits: up to $50 monthly travel reimbursement
Salary: $10 to $11.50/hr or college credit
